    The 52nd edition of the International Emmy Awards took place in New York on Monday, November 25, 2024. The event has been hosted by the Indian comedian actor Vir Das for the first time in history. It was organized by the International Academy of Television Arts and Sciences.

    The event celebrates and honors the best television programs broadcasted outside the United States in 2023. The winners of the International Emmy Awards 2024 are spread across a wide range of categories such as Arts Programming, Best Performance by an Actor, Best Performance by an Actress, Documentary Drama Series, Kids: Animation, Kids: Factual and Entertainment, Kids: Live-Action, Non-Scripted Entertainment, etc.

    Indian Series, The Night Manager was this time nominated in the Drama Series category but lost to France’s Les Gouttes de Dieu. It stars several Bollywood figures, including Anil Kapoor, Aditya Roy Kapoor, Sobhita Dhulipala, and others.

    He has been awarded for his character in the British drama “The Sixth Commandment.” It is a crime television drama series, written by Sarah Phelps and directed by Saul Dabib. The series is based on the real-life murder of Peter Farquhar and the death of his neighbor Ann Moore Marin in Buckinghamshire.

    Best Performance by an Actress: Aokbab-Chutimon Chuengcharoensukying

    She has been awarded for her role in ‘Hunger.’ It is a 2023 Thai drama film directed by Sitisiri Mongkol Siri and written by Kongdej Jaturanrasmee. It revolves around the story of a woman named Aoy, a street-food cook who transitions her family’s humble noodle restaurant to the high-pressure world of haute cuisine. The film received positive reviews for its engaging storyline and strong performances.

    Sports Documentary: Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story

    In the Sports Documentary Category, “Brawn: The Impossible Formula 1 Story, led by Keanu Reeves, has been nominated. The series narrates the extraordinary tale of Ross Brawn’s underfunded and independent Formula 1 team winning the World Championship in 2009.
