Marking the significant moment in his career, the US President-elect, Donald Trump, is anticipated to be named “Person of the Year” in Time Magazine 2024. This will be the second time; Trump would be entitled to this converted award.

According to the reports, he is set to ring the opening bell of the New York Stock Exchange earlier on Thursday, December 12, 2024, to unleash his cover photo. This honor comes before Trump continues to fill out his administration before he officially takes office on January 20, 2025.

Meanwhile, TIME Magazine hasn’t revealed their annual choice for the Person of the Year cover magazine yet. This year’s choice for the publication will be announced shortly, the sources said.

Other Finalists for the “Time of the Year” Time’s Publication 2024

The US President-elect has been widely recognized as the finalist in Time magazine’s “Person of the Year” before any official statements are being made. Vice President Kamala Harris is also included in the list alongside Kate Middleton, Russian economist Yulia Navalnaya, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell, Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, and Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg.

Notably, Donald Trump has also been commended for reshaping the American electorate with his third consecutive political comeback in the United States.

Previously, in 2016, Trump was named as the Person of the Year in Time’s Magazine. This significant achievement came after Trump beat his contender Hillary Clinton in the election. At the time, Trump was seen as grateful and hailed the award as a great honor and one that means a lot.

In 2020, Kamala Harris and President Biden won the Time Magazine award after defeating Donald Trump and his running mate, former Vice President Mike Pence.

He sustained injury on his right ear, and the blood was visible on his face. The 20-year-old rifleman, charged with attempted assassination, was later killed on the spot by the secret serviceman.
