Navigating the corporate maze can be a bit stressful sometimes, especially for Gen Z stepping into the workforce, but no more fear now! As companies are nowadays going the extra mile to ensure a smoother and easier work life for their employees. India’s tech firms are now practicing every way possible to make the workplaces more appealing. The companies are introducing some unique employee relief rules. Such as unlimited sick leaves, mental health days, and time off to spend some time with their pets or aging grandparents.

These rules are aimed at boosting productivity and retaining the young workforce. As per the India technology industry compensation benchmarking survey 2024 conducted by Deloitte India and Nasscom, many firms are carrying out this trend. These approaches are aimed at preventing employee burnout and ensuring a sustainable workflow. At the same time, it enhances the overall well-being and productivity of the employee.
