    Ukraine Support: The G7 leaders expressed solidarity with Ukraine and committed to supporting its fight for freedom and reconstruction. They decided to make about USD 50 billion available. This will be done by leveraging immobilized Russian sovereign assets. This move sends a strong signal to President Putin.

    Gaza Ceasefire: The G7 supports a comprehensive deal that would lead to an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, the release of hostages, and a credible pathway towards peace, including a two-state solution.

    African Partnership: The G7 is engaging with African countries in a spirit of equitable and strategic partnership. They are investing in sustainable infrastructure and launched the Energy for Growth in Africa initiative. 

    Sustainable Development Goals: The G7 aims to achieve better, bigger, and more effective Multilateral Development Banks, enabling the World Bank to boost lending by USD 70 billion over the next decade. They also call for action to address debt burdens. 

    Food Security and Climate Resilience: The G7 launched the Apulia Food Systems Initiative to reinforce global food security and enhance climate resilience. 

    Gender Equality: The G7 and International Financial Institutions will unlock at least USD 20 billion. This funding will be available over three years. It aims to boost women’s empowerment.
