Performances
Commercial debutants Khushi and Junaid made the movie light-hearted while intruding into funny clashes against each other. Ashutosh Rana shined as Baani’s strict father, his interest in music made his character dimensional. Kiku Sharda’s presence provides balance to the screen, Kiran, played by Tanvika Parlikar has also an effective role in the screenplay of Loveyapa. Gucci’s friends Lamba (Aaditya Kulshreshth) and Bobby (Jason Tham) add a fun factor to the scenes.

Loveyapa is the Hindi version of the Tamil film Love Today which was released in 2022, the director has given credit to the Love Today writer Pradeep Ranganathan, and Loveyapa’s writer Sneha Desai has added features that connect with the gen-z audiences, themes of social media use and its countereffects.
“Repair, don’t replace” is a dialogue by Ashutosh’s father, which acts as a key element of the movie; other emotional scenes fade in comparison to this moment. The scenes are replicated in the movie frame to frame, though no vast difference is seen in Loveyapa and Love today. Using punches and puns, the movie acts as a no-brainer.
