    • AKASH: The IAF’s skydiving team will perform aerial acrobatics with tricolor parachutes.
    • DHWAJ: Indigenous helicopters equipped with EW suites, flying at low altitudes with flags.
    • TEJAS: Indigenous fighter jets armed with ASTRA BVR missiles for air superiority.
    • BHIM: Light utility helicopters designed for high-altitude operations and transport.
    • DRONA: Modernized transport aircraft with indigenous avionics.

    Aero India 2023 Highlights

    The 14th edition of Aero India, held from February 13–17, 2023, was the largest to date, with more than 100 countries and 809 exhibitors. The event featured the first-ever Flypast with 53 aircraft, showcasing India’s airpower to a global audience, and attracting over 7 lakh visitors across five days.

    Aero India 2023 placed significant emphasis on promoting startups. Indian startups were showcased at dedicated pavilions like iDEX, India Pavilion, and the Chiefs of Air Staff Conclave. The Annual Start-up Event ‘Manthan’ and the iDEX Investor Hub (iIH), where over ₹200 crore was pledged, further supported the growth of innovation in the aerospace sector.
