The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) achieved a historic milestone with the successful execution of the Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX) mission. This achievement placed Indian among the elite group of nations capable of executing space docking operations, a crucial technology for advancing human spaceflight, space station operations, and interplanetary missions.

Mission Objectives

The SpaDeX mission involved launching two small spacecraft into a 470 km circular orbit at 55° inclination.
