    Tata Curvv ICE

    Tata Motors is all gearing up to launch the Curvv, their latest offering, featuring an internal combustion engine. The company is ready to enter the mid-size SUV market with this launch.

    The Tata Curvv ICE will come with the choice of both petrol and diesel engine options, including two petrol turbocharged engines. The launch is on September 2, 2024. For every engine variant there will be a 6-speed manual and a 7-deep dual-clutch automatic transmission. This dual-clutch combination is a first for an Indian mass-market vehicle.  

    Hyundai Alcazar Facelift 

    The newly re-designed Alcazar has been unveiled, with bookings now available for Rs 25,000. The exterior design details of this SUV have been disclosed. The updated three-row SUV is expected to rival that of the Mahindra XUV700, Kia Carnes.  

    The pricing will be live on September 9, 2024. The 2024 Alcazar will keep the same 1.5-liter turbo-petrol and diesel engines.  

    MG Windsor EV

    The first model from MG’s new collaboration with JSW—the Windsor EV is all set to launch on September 11, 2024. This CUV has been teased for its highlights like LED light bars, a panoramic sunroof and a rear-seat package.

    While the global model offers two battery pack, it’s still unclear that which model will be available in India.  

    Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV

    Mercedes-Benz’s premier electric vehicle Mercedes-Maybach EQS SUV will be live on September 5, 2024. The top-tier 680 version features two motors on each axle, a 108.4 kWh battery and 658 horsepower and 950 Nm of torque.  

    It offers a range of approximately 600 kilometers. Enhancements include two 11.6-inch back displays and an MBUX tablet for controls, raising the standard of luxury.  

    Tata Nexon CNG

    Tata hasn’t completed its lineup for the year yet. Following the Curvv EV and its ICE variants, the company plans to add a new CNG version of the Nexon to its lineup. This will be the first turbo-petrol-CNG car in India, unveiled at the Bharat Mobility Expo earlier this year.

    It will feature a dual CNG cylinder tank, with an AMT or manual transmission. Following its launch, the Nexon will have the broadest selection of powertrain choices, including petrol, diesel, CNG and EV.  

    From Tata Motors’ offering new technology in the automobile market with its Nexon CNG and Curvv to Mercedes-Benz’s introduction to the luxurious SUV, a high benchmark is setup for the other automobile companies.
