    Sanam Teri Kasam 2 sequel announce Confirmed! Check public reactions

    As the much-awaited sequel of 2016 hit Sanam Teri Kasam has finally been announced, the news has left the internet bouncing off the walls. Notably, actor Harshwardhan Rane has been locked for this sequel, and the film is anticipated to release in theaters in October 2024.

    Although, the actor has been finalized, the film’s director has not been yet decided. The first sequel of the film was directed by Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru.

    While announcing this wonderful news, the actor Harshwardhan Rane in an Instagram story mentioned, “The wonderful producer of STK Part 1 @deepakmukut sir announced #SanamTeriKasm2 today.” The news has continued to make the rounds on social media.

    Many users in the comment section of a paparazzi handle, expressed their excitement to watch the film. Several users also dropped hearts and claps emojis. A user in the comment section noted, “The movie that reflects emotion and love.” While some users also requested to cast the same lead actors, “Excited but continue with the same actor and same actress.” The other noted, “Waiting for Sanam Teri Kasam 2. This movie can easily steal anybody’s heart.”

    Announcement confirmed

    Producer Deepak Mukut, who is also a founder of Soham Rockstar Entertainment, expressed his happiness and dedication to the creation of another sequel of the film. “We have locked an exceptional story for Sanam Teri Kasam 2 with Harshvardhan Rane returning as the lead. Soham Rockstar Entertainment is dedicated to creating a sequel that will resonate deeply with fans,” he stated.

    While actor Harshwardhan Rane said that returning to ‘Sanam Teri Kasam’ is like revisiting an old friend who has always been close to his heart. The love and connection that audiences have presented towards the film over the years is truly humbling.

    “I’m thrilled to be a part of the producer of the original film, Deepak Mukut’s World, and bringing a story for you all with a sequel. They are creating something that honors the original while taking the journey forward in an exciting new direction,” he further added.

    Sanam Teri Kasam is a 2016 Indian romantic drama film. The tale revolves around Inder, a tough ex-convict, and Saru, a traditional librarian. Saru, who faces constant rejection from suitors due to her old-fashioned appearance, was under pressure to marry so her younger sister could wed. She meets Inder, who lives in the same building, gradually, their lives become intertwined after a few series of misunderstandings and dramatic events occurred. Inder helped her with a makeover and fell for her. However, their relationship faces numerous obstacles, including societal norms and challenges. The story then takes a drastic end when Saru gets diagnosed with a terminal illness.  The film also starred Pakistani actor Mawra Ho cane opposite Harshvardhan Rane.

    However, the film didn’t perform well upon its premiere in 2016, but it has gradually gained popularity on streaming services due to its catchy tunes and precise love story.
