    Who is Lawrence Bishnoi?

Lawrence Bishnoi, a notorious gangster from Punjab, has recently claimed responsibility for the assassination of Khalistani terrorist Sukhdool Singh in Canada. This claim follows the wake of several high-profile incidents connected to Bishnoi. This also includes the threats against Salman Khana and his alleged involvement in the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, who was tragically murdered on May 29 in Mansa, Punjab.

Salman is facing backlash from Bishnoi for his role in the 1998 Blackbuck poaching case. Salman’s actions have angered two infamous gangsters, Goldy Brar and Bishnoi. Both the gangsters have vowed to seek revenge for the deaths of two blackbucks in Rajasthan, during the making of the Bollywood movie ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain.’ The blackbuck is considered an auspicious animal by the Bishnoi community, who were triggered by this incident.

This is not first time Khan’s family has been targeted by Bishnoi. In June 2022, while out for a morning walk, Salman’s father received a threatening letter that was aimed at Salman and his father.

Earlier this year in April, there was a shooting incident involving Bishnoi’s gang outside Salman’s Bandra building in Mumbai.

Subsequently, it was revealed that Anmol Bishnoi, the brother of the gangster, claimed responsibility for the shooting via Facebook. The post indicated that the Bishnoi gang was behind the attack. In response, the Mumbai Police invoked the MCOCA (Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act) against at least nine individuals, including Bishnoi.

Regarding the recent threat against Salim Khan, the authorities are interrogating the arrested suspects. Officials are taking these incidents with utmost seriousness, as the Khan family has a history of receiving threats.

Law enforcement is still looking into the matter to uncover more details about those involved in threatening Salim Khan.
