Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s luxury car was hit by a Brihanmumbai Electricity Supply and Transport (BEST) bus in the Mumbai suburb of Juhu on Wednesday. Although the accident damaged the luxury car, no individual was injured. Sources also added that Aishwarya Rai was not behind the wheel of the car at the point when it was rammed into.

The accident video went viral on social media with the wrecked luxury car in the background behind a BEST bus. The accident occurred outside Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s house, and that was a major draw among people.

Bus Rams Into Luxury Vehicle Opposite Bachchan’s Home

As per an official report, the bus had moved from the Juhu depot and was on its way to the next stop when it collided with the parked luxury car outside Amitabh Bachchan’s house. The driver alighted immediately to estimate the extent of damage. But things turned bad when a bouncer outside Amitabh Bachchan’s house approached the driver and slapped him as per some claims.

Driver Reports Police After Physical Assault

The sudden physical attack made the bus driver place a call to the Mumbai Police control room informing them of the physical attack. The police officials arrived immediately on the scene to question the occurrence.

The witnesses further reported that the driver was taken aback by the reaction of the bouncer. “He was just staring at the car damage when the bouncer emerged and slapped him,” explained a witness who resides in the area.

Apology Issued, Driver Continues on His Route

The moment the police arrived; the situation was resolved. The supervisory staff present had to apologize for the actions of the bouncer. Having settled the matter, the bus driver refused to take any more legal action and proceeded to drive towards Santacruz.

The accident has already provoked public outrage on social networking platforms, with citizens questioning the behavior of the security personnel. While some condemned the bouncer’s excesses, others questioned whether the accident was preventable.

There has been no word yet from Aishwarya Rai and the Bachchan family regarding the incident. Mumbai Police has not yet decided whether to prosecute the bouncer or not.
