Bangladesh Unrest: Hindus Attacked, PM’s Palace Looted, Statue Vandalized!

When regimes collapse, everything is flung open. Protestors are out breaking the law and order. The current situation of Bangladesh somewhat resembles the situation of Sri Lanka, where students and people were out on roads to protest against Gotabaya Rajapaksa in 2022.

But the situation of Bangladesh, after PM Hasinas resignation has only worsened. Soon after the news of PM Sheikh Hasina resigning and fleeing to India became widespread, protestors looted and ransacked the PMs official residence. The images and videos circulating over social media showed people destroying and taking Hasinas belongings, like furniture, paintings, luggage and clothing.

A woman carrying a luxury travel bag was seen smiling. The post captioned, Looted a Dior bag from Gano Bhaban.

Apart from all the luxury belongings, even undergarments were also looted by the protesters. The post immediately went viral on social media, earning a lot of criticism from netizens.
