    Spotlight: Launch Of iPhone 16 Series, Watch and AirPods

    The wait for iOS lovers is over, as the much awaited iPhone 16 series is now live. The Apple Glowtime Event 2024 saw the launch of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. Additionally, the company also introduced iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus. The wearable accessories include the Watch Series 10, and an upgraded AirPods 4.  

    Let’s delve further into the highlights of the events, the prices and features of the launched products.

    The new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus maintain a similar look to the previously launched series. However, the 16 series have a revised camera island that takes on the iPhone X’s pill-shaped form. This new design is aimed at facilitating spatial capture.  

    The iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus have screens that are 6.1 inched and 6.7 inches, respectively. Additionally, both phones come with Dynamic Island , that adds interactive features and notifications, enhancing the user’s experience.  

    Further upgrades include, action button, replacing the traditional Ring/Silent switch. The new addition is the Camera Control button that acts like a camera shutter. It allows the users to instantly open the camera, click pictures and switch between photo and video modes.  

    The major upgrade is the A18 chip that supports AAA games previously exclusive to Pro models and enhances graphics performance. New colors added for iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus are black, white, green, blue and pink. The prices for iPhone 16 and 16 Plus, starts at ₹79,900 and ₹89,000, respectively.

    iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max

    The iPhone 16 Pro series, come with a new camera system featuring  

    -a 48MP Fusion camera with a quad-pixel sensor,  

    -a 48MP ultrawide camera, and  

    - Advertisement -

    -a 12MP telephoto camera.  

    For an optical zoom up to 5x, the iPhone 16 Pro Max has added a tetra prism periscope lens. Both versions have a 12MP TrueDepth from camera with 4K 120 fps recording in Dolny Vision.  

    The price of iPhone 16 Pro commences at ₹119,900 for the 128GB variant, while the iPhone 16 Pro Max begins starts at ₹144,990 for the 256GB model. Pre-sales will begin on September 13, while the sales will start from 20 September.  

    Apple Watch and AirPods Series

    The Apple Watch Series 10 comes in two variants: the GPS Aluminum model and the GPS+ Cellular Titanium variant. The prices for both the variants commence at: 

    -₹46,900 for GPS Aluminum model and, 

    -₹79,000 for GPS+ Cellular Titanium model 

    The new Apple Watch Ultra shade is prices at ₹1,04,900 

    Functionality includes

    The watches are available in two sizes, 42mm and 46mm. The watch 10 series is having the longest and advanced display, and the thinnest also, in comparison to series 9.  

    AirPods 4

    The base version of the AirPods 4 starts from ₹12,900, while the variant with ANC feature, (Active Noise Cancellation), is for ₹17,900.  

    The AirPods Pro Max now comes in various new colors, but the price remains still at ₹59,900.  

    Apple’s all new products are available for pre-order on the Apple Store and will start its sales in India on September 20.
