Tech giant Apple is Planning to unveil its new products this year. In the upcoming series, the launch of iPhone 16 and the brand-new version of the Mac Mini are some of the major launches in the market. As per reports, this Mac Mini is powered by M4 chip, focusing on AI power.
This upcoming desktop computer will be the smallest from the company, featuring some major design change since 2010. It is likely to be the same size as an Apple TV which is around 1.4 inches in height and may be slightly taller than that.
This brand-new Mac Mini will be essentially an iPad Pro in a small box and expected to be out in the market this month. While the high-tech model of the Mac Mini might take a few more months to be shipped in the market.
Available in two versions
The device is likely to be available in two variations, including one with the standard M4 chip and would be like the iPad Pro, and another one with an M4 Pro chip.
Easy to fit
This approach by the tach giant to launch the new Mac Mini in a small box would be an advantage of the lower power requirements of the company’s in-house silicon.
Budget Friendly
Additionally, the new version of the Mac Mini might be more cost-effective for the customers than the existing one, priced ar$599.
USB-type C ports are back
Apple has also developed a prototype for the brand-new Mac Mini, which will feature at least three USB-Type C ports, as power cable connector, an HDMI port for connecting it to display.
Premium Intelligence features
As per the reports, Apple will also feature some more premium features in the M4. It will also start charging its customers for Apple Intelligence features. It is likely to charge $20 premium for AI features as a part of an Apple subscription.
More launches to come this year
Notably, Mac Mini is not the only one device getting the M4 this year, the company is also working on slew more versions of MacBook Pro and iMac with chips from the latest M4 series which could be launched by this year.
In addition to this, M4 powered MacBook Air is also said to be among the next launches next year. While the Updated versions of Mac Pro and Mac Studio are reportedly scheduled for Mid-2025.
