A horrific murder case has been unearthed after the body of a 23-year-old woman, Mitali, was found wrapped in a plastic sheet near Rajpura. Mitali was a Badal Colony resident of Zirakpur and had gone missing for a day when her body was found. A registered case has been filed against four accusedMohammad Sultan, Raj, Amandeep, and Rohit Kumaragainst the case.

Sohan Lal, the father of Mitali, has filed a complaint against Mohammad Sultan for kidnapping his daughter and conspiring to kill her. After the body of Mitali was found and pressure from her family, the police finally acted. Mohali SP Manpreet Singh has confirmed that a case of murder has been registered against the four accused by name. He assured that the police are actively investigating the case and arrests will be made soon.

“The case of murder has been lodged against the four accused. We are probing the case and will soon arrest them,” SP Manpreet Singh stated.
