An encounter broke out between the Army and terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir's Poonch district on April 14, 2025. One soldier was injured in the gunfight as forces intensified operations in Lasana village to flush out militants hiding in the region.
The Indian Army officially complained to the Pakistan Army about a recent bout of activity along the Line of Control (LoC), such as attempts to push in militants, breaches of the 2021 ceasefire pact and the recent mine blast in the Poonch district.
