Tech billionaire and Tesla CEO Elon Musk attended U.S. President Donald Trumps second cabinet meeting on March 24, making headlines with his attire. Musk, who is often seen sporting the Make America Great Again (MAGA) hat, opted for a red baseball cap that read, Trump was right about everything. His choice of clothing, along with Trumps remarks about him, fueled discussions about their growing political alignment.
During the meeting, Trump expressed his admiration for Musk, referring to him as a patriot. Acknowledging the challenges Musk has faced, Trump stated, Elon, I want to thank you. I know you have been through a lot with this horrible situation that happened. He is a patriot.
Trump also mentioned that Musk had been a great supporter in elections but had never requested anything in return. He humorously added, Thats always subject to change, and if it does change, Ill let you know about it.
Additionally, Trump took the opportunity to highlight policy changes he had implemented, saying, I got rid of the election car mandate. This statement appeared to be a reference to regulatory policies related to the auto industry, a sector where Tesla plays a dominant role.
Another major topic of discussion was the recent attacks on Tesla vehicles. Trump claimed that if Musk had not supported him, he would not be facing these issues. He labeled those responsible for the attacks as high-level terrorists and assured that law enforcement would act against them.
Trump further hinted that the people behind these incidents might include individuals he was familiar with. He warned, Those people are big trouble.
Musk, who remained quiet for most of the meeting, continued to wear his striking red cap, reinforcing his stance on Trumps political viewpoints.
Musks public support for Trump has been a topic of growing debate, particularly given his significant influence in the tech and business world. While Musk has often stated that he values free speech and independent thinking, his recent appearances alongside Trump suggest a stronger alignment with the former presidents policies and political narrative.
