Bollywood’s King Shahrukh Khan has been recognized as one of the World’s most handsome actors in the world. He has been ranked among the top 10 most handsome male actors in a scientific study conducted recently.
Reportedly, the study has been conducted by a celebrity plastic surgeon named, Dr Julian De Silva. The list further includes some prominent names like Aaron Tylor-Johnson, Lucien Laviscount, and others.
‘Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty’
This study uses facial symmetry and the “Greek Golden Ratio of Beauty”. The Golden Ratio beauty is a mathematical concept. It is used to examine the physical attractiveness of human faces and bodies. A ratio of approximately 1.618:1 also known as ‘Phi’ is used to measure the physical features. It involves the measuring of face length and width and then dividing length by the width.
The closer result of the ratio of 1.618 means a more attractive face. Dr De Silvia used advanced face-mapping software to analyze the facial features aligned with the Golden Ratio. The ratio measured the face symmetry while highlighting the degree of physical perfection.

In the above list, Shahrukh Khan is the only Indian actor to have made himself among the global ranking. He is one of the most iconic and influential actors in the Indian film industry. He is also known as the ‘Badshah of Bollywood’ and ‘King Khan’.
He captured the 10th spot on the list. While noting his facial features, Dr Julian De Silva said, “The King of Bollywood has been one of India’s biggest stars for the past three decades. He is still striking looking at 58 and is ageing wonderfully. He scored the highest scores, especially for his lips and wonderfully square-shaped chin. But missed on a higher position due to the shape of his nose.”
Additionally, while mentioning Aaron Tylor who clinched the first spot in the list, Dr De Silva said that he was the clear winner as the facial elements measured for physical perfection.
“What makes Aaron so exceptional is the overall shape of his face, which with a score of 99.2% is only 0.8 less of being perfect. The width and length of his nose are almost perfect too, at 98%. He also has the beautifully sculpted chin, scoring 95%”, she further added.
