Famous South-Korean Singer, song writer and the member of the boy band of BTS (Bulletproof Boy scouts), Kim Taehyung widely known as V, has made a commendable achievement in his musical career, after he ranked first among the most popular K-pop idol and Asian Artist globally. 

He was entitled among the most highly searched artist worldwide within the first half of this year, i.e. from January 1^st to June 30^th, 2024.  This internet sensation has solidified his position among the top searched BTS members in the Google trends, demonstrating his dominance on the online platforms worldwide and the global music industry. He secured the highest spot in the list of top 15 K-pop stars along with IU, leading among female artists.

Along with Taehyung, Jungkook from BTS, IU, Lisa and Jennie from Black Panther obtained the top five spots. This achievement has proved to be the greatest turning point in his professional career. It also reflects the dedicated support of his fans.

Hailing from a small village in the Seo-district of Daegu in the Geochang town of South –Korea. Kim Taehyung has accomplished several milestones in his K-pop career. V started his professional career as a secret member of the BTS Army. At that time people were completely unaware about his existence in the world of Music.  

However, back in 2013, the artist made his first-ever debut with the BTS on the Mnet’s M Countdown with the track “No More Dream”. This was from the Brand’s Debut single Album called 2 Cool 4 Skool. Later in 2015, V first credited for his musical composition in the album named “Most Beautiful Moment in Life Part 1.”  

He also launched his own extended play in the album as a music composer and producer of the song, ‘Hold Me Tight’. He also contributed lyrics for the song, ‘Fun Boyz.’

In 2023, Taehyung set a huge bar for all other emerging K-pop artists. It was after his first solo debut album called Layovers surpassed over 2 million copies sold within the 23 years of his K-pop career and South-Korean History. The album has gained the highest earning just in the first week. Which made around 2,101,974 sales in the first week itself. 

Despite being a K-pop musical star, Taehyung is also serving in the Military. He often seems to maintain distance with the promotional activities and other social media campaigns. However, the artist remains in spotlight for his contributions to the K-pop world. Which keeps his fans curious and engaged about his on screen and off-screen activities.
