    From emerging as a World Cup Hero to a Cancer Survivor, the legacy of cricketer Yuvraj Singh is truly remarkable. He has made many significant contributions to the world of cricket, making himself a dynamo for the Indian cricket team. 

    Recently, an announcement by T-Series has arrived as a treat for all the cricket and sports lovers, as the production for a biopic on cricketer Yuvraj Singh is all set. His incredible journey is known for his heroic performances despite facing major setbacks and struggles. 

    Battling Cancer and successful comeback

    This biopic will set his journey immortalized on the big screen, leaving an everlasting impact on the hearts of many Indians. The film will highlight Yuvraj Singh ‘s early days as a cricketer with heroic performances in the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 ICC Cricket World Cup, and his inspiring battle against cancer.

    In 2011, he was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called Mediastinal Seminoma. The diagnoses came after experiencing health issues like illness, insomnia, fits and coughing. Yuvraj also documented his battle in his book named, “The Test of My Life: From Cricket to Cancer and Back”. His book highlights candid amounts of struggles, fears and rigorous chemotherapy treatment he underwent.  

    Reflections from Yuvraj Sharma’s biopic

    This film is tentatively titled “Six Sixes” and will showcase some of the most iconic moments and turns in Singh’s career, including his famous six sixes in an over against England in 2009. It will also delve into his triumphs and personal struggles, and his resilience and dedication to fight against the odds.

    Filmmaker Bhushan Singh and producer Ravi Bhangchandka have joined hands with Yuvraj Singh to make the biopic. However, following this announcement, netizens are eager and can’t wait to explore more about the release. Questions like who is going to play the lead role are surfacing all over the internet.

    Netizens also gave the verdict on who should play the role of Yuvraj Singh. While someone wants the protagonist to be played by Prabhas, another suggested Tiger Shroff. Interestingly, Ranbir Singh and Ranbir Kapoor are also preferred by the users over the internet.

    In a recent poll conducted by TimesNowSports on X (formerly Twitter), fans chose 36-year-old actor Vicky Kaushal among Ranbir Kapoor, Ranvir Singh, and Varun Dhawan. Actor Vicky Kaushal emerged as a standout choice, winning with 44.4% of the votes.
