Directors Vinay Sapru and Radhika Rao recently opened up about their special bond with Salman Khan and the possibility of working with him again. A Surprise Commitment from a Superstar
Vinay and Radhika recalled how their journey with Salman Khan began with an unexpected but life-changing moment. Armed with scripts and song references, they visited Galaxy Apartments for a film narration. While waiting, Salman spotted them and asked, “What are you guys doing here?” When they explained their purpose, he immediately invited them inside. Without even hearing the script, he simply said, “Congratulations, I’m doing your film.”
The directors were stunned. As aspiring filmmakers, they never expected a superstar to commit to their project so quickly. Salman had never seen their previous work, yet he trusted them completely. Vinay described the experience as a testament to how destiny brings together ordinary people and megastars.

Without hesitation, he posted, “This song was recorded for Tere Naam,” referencing a track from Lucky. That one tweet gave their film the push it needed. When asked about a potential collaboration for a Sanam Teri Kasam sequel, Vinay and Radhika didn’t hide their excitement. They admitted that Salman Khan remains their dream actor.
