India currently is observing a surge in live concerts, with both national and international artists taking the stage. Â From Diljit Dosanjh’s electrifying performance to Coldplay’s unforgettable show, fans witnessed their favorites performing live and creating lasting memories. While many fans accomplished their bucket list, others complained that their happiest moment turned into a nightmare.

Concert Chaos: What Went Wrong?
Theft in Concerts
The concerts of Karan Aujla and Diljit Dosanjh turned disastrous when fans reported the incidents of theft from the venue. Sources noted that approx. 200 phones were stolen during Karan Aujla’s Delhi-NCR Concert. Priyal Kapoor, a makeup artist who attended Aujla’s concert posted a video on Instagram that quoted, ‘It wasn’t a dream, it was a nightmare’.Â
The video showed many youngsters in police station, registering FIR for their stolen phones. The caption of the video read, “Nearly 200 phones were stolen at Karan Aujla’s concert today, including my brother’s. A gang was operating in the arena, and no one from Team Innovation or Karan’s team offered any help. We purchased tickets with our hard-earned money to enjoy the show, and as fans, the least we expect is for you and your team to look into this matter and help us recover our devices.”Â

The same theft incident was reported at Diljit’s concert in Delhi. A fan on his social media claimed that his tickets were stolen outside the concert venue, and he had to went back without watching the show. Not only this, during Diljit’s Chandigarh concert, at least, 105 mobile phones were stolen.
Stinking Toilets and Over-Priced Food
Many fans also expressed their disappointment stating how concerts were full of chaos. From entry to exit routes, how crowd was poorly handled. Many also claimed that food items and drinks were way too expensive and not worth the price. The vendors were not accepting the UPI payments. Many also complained about the poor sanitation facilities and smelly restrooms.Â
Poor Crowd Management
Apart from all these facilities, the fans slammed the organizers over shoddy management. Many girl fans claimed that the crowd was intentionally pushing them. One female fan who attended Diljit’s concert labelled it as ‘Worst Night of My Life’. She through her social media narrated that despite being in the front she was not able to see Diljit. she further narrated that how the ladies around were stopping her from singing and dancing.

Many users also backlashed Indian administration and said, “India should only host concerts only if they have proper infrastructure.”
