Saif Ali Khan was stabbed by Shariful on 16th January. He was arrested on Sunday when he was found hiding in Thane. Shariful’s father revealed that the person shown on the CCTV footage is not his son and further added that the police have arrested his son as he could be easily targeted as he has entered India Illegally. Md Rohul Amin is also a Village Level BNP functionary, has stressed to the party members to raise this false arrest as a diplomatic issue. The person in the photo released by the police has long hair but his son has always had short hair raised upwards, revealed his father. He further stated that their family could be poor but they could never be criminals
Shariful is a High School Drop Out
According to the information received, Shariful has 30 hails from the Rajbaria village in Bangladesh. He is a 10th-class dropout and came to India last April in search of a better job through illegal processes. While in his village, he earned his living by ferrying people on his motorcycle. He came to India to earn more money for a better life, his father revealed.
Shocking to the Family
Thirty hours after stabbing Saif Ali Khan he sent Rs 10,000 to his father’s account. He also had Rs 3,000 in his savings enough for him to buy food for the next few days. There was no need to commit any such crime for the living, his father said. It was shocking for the family when they came to know about the crime being committed by their son. His father also revealed that he is very close to his family members including his father, mother, two siblings, and his wife, and keeps in touch with them daily. The whole family is deeply saddened as they could not help Shariful in any way as they are at a distance of 100 kilometers.
Left Without Any Legal Documents
His father further revealed that he left his village due to political instability prevailing there and planned to move to India first to earn more money and then to move out of India to any other foreign country for a bright future. He moved to India through fake documents by getting help from a middleman. Shariful initially worked in a hotel in West Bengal. for about a month before he shifted to Mumbai. In Mumbai, he stayed at the premises of various hotels and restaurants Saif Ali Khan was Stabbed multiple times by a Bangladeshi intruder and the police are looking into the case deeply and are also tracing Shariful of having any criminal records in the past in Bangladesh.
Was He Acting?
Recently Maharashtra Cabinet Minister Nithish Rane made a controversial statement regarding the stabbing incident of Saif Ali Khan. He stated he doubted if he was stabbed for real or if was he just acting. He added that he saw when he came outside of his residence after getting stabbed, he came dancing and mentioned him as garbage and should be thrown away giving the least importance to the issue. He also stated that this issue is getting attention because he is a Muslim actor and this would not have happened if it was for a Hindu actor highlighting Sushant Singh Rajput’s incident to the media. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Nirupam also had several doubts regarding the incident and his speedy recovery. Regarding this, he stated,” There are certain unanswered questions in my mind, and I believe many citizens of Mumbai feel the same…was the treatment so extraordinary, or should I say has the medical sector advanced so much, that just four days later, Saif Ali Khan returned home jumping and moving?”
