As India celebrates its 76th RepublicDay, Google designed a vibrant doodle, featuring animals in traditional Indian attire, showcasing the countrys rich cultural diversity.

Republic Day holds a special importance for India, as the day celebrates the adoption of its constitution on January 26th, 1950. This year, 2025, marks the 75th year since India became a republic state.
India’s 76th Republic Day Parade at Kartavya Path, featuring a grand celebration of the nation’s cultural heritage and military prowess.The theme for Republic Day 2025 is“Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas,” which translates to“Golden India: Heritage and Development.”.
– Grand Parade: The parade at Kartavya Path will feature 31 tableaux from different states, Union Territories, and ministries, showcasing India’s cultural diversity and achievements. The parade took place in the national capital, New Delhi, and is a part of a major attraction.
–Military Display: The parade will include a display of India’s military strength, featuring T-90 tanks, BrahMos missiles, and a flypast by 40 aircraft from theIndian Air Force.
– Cultural Performances: Over 300 artists will perform traditional music and dance, representing various regions of India.
– Special Guests: The President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, will be the chief guest, and around 10,000 special guests from various sectors will attend.
– Honoring Heroes: Gallantry award winners, including Param Vir Chakra and Ashok Chakra recipients, will participate in the parade.
– Traditional Buggy Ride: The President and the chief guest will arrive in a traditional buggy, reviving a 40-year-old tradition.
In 2025, The Google Doodle designed by Pune-based Rohan Dahotre shows a snow leopard in Ladakhi clothes. Next to it, a tiger holds a musical instrument. A peacock, which is India’s national bird, is flying. An antelope, dressed in ceremonial attire, carries a staff.
