“I just want America and Canada to get along,” Podcaster Joe Rogan Makes his Stance Clear

The Joe Rogan experiences recent episode with Michael Kosta, the matter of Canada and the US stirred up, where he expressed that he is in disbelief that anti-country sentiments are rising and called it the dumbest thing ever. Further, He expressed his wish for America and Canada to be friends again.

Amid the sports world of Canada and the US, political turmoil has erupted, particularly after the US national anthem was booed by Canadian fans, sparking a heated discussion online. In his podcast, a UFC commentator expressed that Canada should not become the 51st state of the US. This is the same podcaster who previously supported Trump in the 2024 election but has now opposed Trump’s rhetoric about annexing Canada.

Trump on Canada

As Donald Trump came to power as the President of US, a tariff war ensued between various countries including Canada. Additionally, a campaign stirred up conflicts with Canada since President Trumps inaugural ceremony.

Trump went to the extent of calling now ex-president of Canada Justin Trudeau Governor, categorizing Canada as the 51st state of the United States. Standing outside of the White House, the President told to press that, Canada would be great as our cherished 51st state.

Trump stated that people wouldn’t have to worry about borders or any other issues. He mentioned that Canada has very high taxes, while the United States is considered a low-tax nation due to the tax cuts he implemented. He asserted that Canadians would pay significantly less tax as a result, and he believed this made a lot of sense.

Rogan against Trump?

Once a supporter, Joe Rogan publicly disagreed with the president on this matter, he said on his podcast, “We got to become friends with Canada again. We have to, like, you know, this is so ridiculous.

“I don’t know what is happening with their politics, but I just want America and Canada to get along. I think it’s ridiculous. And I don’t really think they should be our 51st state.” He said.

He expressed disbelief at the anti-American and anti-Canadian sentiment, labeling it as foolish. He pointed out that many people mistakenly viewed Canada as an enemy and questioned why the U.S. subsidized Canada and why it didn’t maintain its own military. He concluded by suggesting that it was important to accept the situation for what it was.

Rogans support for Trump During Elections

In the 2024 Presidential elections, Joe Rogan, an influential podcaster, publicly endorsed Donald Trump. On his podcast with Elon Musk, a fellow supporter of Trump, he stated, Musk makes what I think is the most compelling case for Trump you’ll hear, and I agree with him every step of the way. For the record, yes, that’s an endorsement of Trump.”

Rogan had also given extensive reach to Trump by inviting him on his podcast in October 2024.
