Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's son Ibrahim Ali Khan has not only made it into the limelight due to his professional choices but also for his personal life. One of the hot takes concerning the young actor is his apparent romance with Palak Tiwari, daughter of TV actor Shweta Tiwari. Over the last months, they have been on a couple of dates, whether it be grocery shopping or holiday travel to Goa or the Maldives, realistically having been dating for months now.
Now, in a recentinterview with Filmfare, Ibrahim has finally responded to the chatter. When asked directly about Palak, he said, “She’s a good friend. Yeah, she’s sweet. That’s all.” His concise yet warm response doesn’t confirm or deny the dating rumors, but it has certainly added to the public curiosity surrounding the duo.
This is not the first time their relationship has made headlines. Palak, in earlier encounters, has also called Ibrahim a "good friend." Though they have tried to keep it private, media reports and social media have followed their activities closely, fueling an increasing narrative surrounding their relationship.
The public speculation about their romantic relationship receives a lot of media attention, but Ibrahim and Palak continue establishing their career paths in the film industry. Palak started her acting journey by starring in the horror-thriller Rosie: The Saffron Chapter (2021) under the direction of Vishal Mishra and production by Vivek Oberoi. The movie sought to combine suspense and supernatural factors, and Palak's role was her official entry into film. Since then, she has appeared in music videos and is preparing to do more as she continues to build her career further.
The movie Nadaaniyan marked Ibrahim's debut in the film industry as he played opposite Khushi Kapoor in their romantic drama. Netflix released the film but got different reviews from critics and viewers. Viewers had divided ideas about the distinctive portrayal of a love story, while critics criticized the way the story was presented. Still, while some enjoyed the new pairing, others felt that the story lacked. Nevertheless, Ibrahim's presence on screen was noted, and he was praised by his grandmother, veteran actress Sharmila Tagore. “He looked handsome. He tried his best, but the film was not good,” she reportedly said, offering both support and honest feedback.
During the same interview, Ibrahim also cherished a memory from childhood when he became aware of his father being a celebrity. He was just seven or eight when he saw the shoots of Love Aaj Kal in the UK, where Saif was filming alongside Deepika Padukone. “What a movie! And I was like, wow. Deepika Padukone. That’s when I had my first crush ever,” he revealed with a smile.
Ibrahim was recently on vacation with his sister, Sara Ali Khan, and mother, Amrita Singh, in Switzerland. Pictures taken during the visit, posted on Instagram by Sara, provided insight into their bonding as siblings as well as lovely travels.
In contrast with most of their peers, both Ibrahim and Palak have had relatively low-key lives despite their starry heritage. Their down-to-earth attitude, occasional appearances on social media, and selective choice of projects reflect a cautious path to stardom.
While they continue to contend with the twists and turns of public life as well as their fledgling careers, the two are perpetually under surveillance—either for their work or for their so-called connection. Whatever it may be for the moment, rest assured, here's what's certain: Ibrahim and Palak are two new faces Bollywood's watching.
