Israel Marks October 7 Anniversary with Exhibition of Seized Weapons

On the first anniversary of Hamas attack on Israel on October 7, the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have displayed a variety of military arms, vehicles and other seized items from Hamas. This exhibited item includes motorcycles, pickup trucks, Rocket Propelled Grenades (RPG), anti-tank missiles and other combat materials used by Hamas-led militants who invaded the Southern Israel.
As per the Israeli Defense Forces, there are around 70,000 items of enemy equipment which has been seized since the evolution of the war. The IDF confiscated around 1,250 anti-tank missiles, RPGs and 4,500 explosive devices.
Commemorating a year of the deadly October 7 attack, the IDF took to their official X handle, and mentioned, Marking one year since the deadly October 7 massacre, the IDF has established an exhibition displaying the items seized from Hamas terrorists who invaded Israel on October 7, as well as during the combat in Gaza, to showcase them to the world.
Since the beginning of the war, the IDF has confiscated approximately 70,000 items of enemy equipment, including around 1,250 anti-tank missiles and RPGs, as well as about 4,500 explosive devices, the post further added.
Notably, the October 7, 2023, attack refers to a significant and Violent escalation in the long-standing conflict between Israel-Palestine, primarily involving Hamas and Israel. Surprisingly, Hamas launched a massive attack on Israel from the Gaza Strip. The attack included a barrage of airstrikes and ground incursions which were launched by Hamas militants on Israeli territory, leading to a chaotic and deadly situation.
The situation was followed by a massive amount of civilian fatalities on Israelis side, while the IDF responded to the attack by targeting Hamas infrastructure in Gaza. The attack received a widespread attention and condemnation worldwide. Many countries have expressed their support to Israel to defend itself while highlighting the need for restraint and protection of civilians.
In the wake of the attack, Israeli launched several extensive operations in Gaza using airstrikes and artillery shelling. The attack was aimed at eliminating Hamass military capabilities.
