One of the brilliant contestants of the popular TV Show – Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 16, Chander Prakash of Jammu and Kashmir, created history as he emerged as its first Crorepati winner of Rs 10 million.Already undergone multiple surgeries with several health issues, Chander Parkash, however, showcased his knowledge intelligently as he graced the hot seat in front of world-famous personality Amitabh Bachchan (Big B).

For IN 50 lakh question, he was questioned: “According to the Padma Purana, with whom did Lord Krishna wage a battle over the fate of Chitrasena? The options were: (A) Lord Balarama (B) Arjuna (C) Lord Indra (D) Duryodhana. The correct option was B-Arjuna. The question for Rs One Crore (IN 10 million) was: The largest city in which country is not its capital but a port with an Arabic name that means ‘Abode of Peace’?” Options were: A- Somalia; B- Oman; C- Tanzania; D- Brunei. The correct option for the last question was C-Tanzania. When Chander claimed it, Amitabh Bachchan declared him the winner with a great roar.

After this Chander Parkash was also asked for a correct answer to IN 7 Crore question about Virginia Dare. Being ignorant of the correct answer, Chander Prakash quit the show. It is important to share that most of the queries he answered were without any supporting lifelines, like audience poll, double dip, etc. As per the correct answer, Virginia Dare was the first English child born in the Americas, on August 18, 1587.

Winner of this 33rd episode, Chander Prakash shared during the show, he will uliltize the prize money for his treatment and also for the repayment of loans. He added that he would give the winning amount to his parents, who have sacrificed a lot for him. He also shared to use the prize money for his health treatment and the financial crisis of the family.
