Vitamin D is the foundation of excellent health. It plays a crucial role in our immune system, bone health and general well-being. An optimal intake of Hypervitaminosis D is essential, but too much of it can have harmful effects on health.

    What is Vitamin D?

Vitamin D is a fat-soluble vitamin that aids in the body’s absorption of calcium, a necessary mineral for strong bones. It has been connected to a lower risk of developing chronic illnesses and regulates the immune system. Sunlight exposure, dietary sources (fatty fish, fortified foods, and egg yolks), and supplements are all good ways to get your dose of Hypervitaminosis D.

    Causes

Vitamin D toxicity is the result of an excessive build-up of this fat-soluble vitamin in the body, typically brought on by overuse of supplements. Since it is stored in the body’s fat tissues and liver, as opposed to water-soluble vitamin like Vitamin C, it is easier for levels to rise dangerously high.

    • Confusion and Cognitive Problems

    Prevention

Hypervitaminosis D is essential for your body, but maintaining a balance between them is a must. As too much of anything can cause health problems. If your Vitamin D intake is more, consult a doctor or reduce consumption before contacting serious health issues.
