    The fortified whole grains and some rich animal sources contain lots of Vitamin B, which helps to balance the metabolism of cortisol. The consumption of food items such as Beef, Chicken, Eggs, Fortified Cereal and Nutritional Yeast etc. into our diet can help lower cortisol levels. It provides B Vitamins that work as an aid in raising the metabolism and reducing the stress levels.  

    Whole grains also improve the gut health and may reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease.  

    Foods high in Omega-3 fatty acid, these foods reduce inflammation level of the human body. The best activated form of food is through fatty fish; however, one can also take it from some plant sources. The foods include, Anchovies, Avocados, Chia seeds, Flax seeds, Herring, Olive Oil and Mackerel etc.  

    These foods are eminent for their anti-inflammatory properties and have been linked to variety of health benefits such as improve learning, memory ability, cognitive-well-being, blood flow in the brain etc. Additionally, they may help to reduce the incidence of depression and anxiety. 

    Magnesium-rich foods are very beneficial for lowering cortisol level and relaxing the body and mind.
