Shubman Gill Becomes Only No.3 Batter to Score Test Century, After Rahul Dravid

Indian Star Batter Shubman Gill made his fifth Test century against Bangladesh on Day 3 of the Test Match. He scored an unbeatable 119 runs off 176 balls. This score helped team India to declare the second innings at 287/4, setting a new target for the opponent of 515 runs.
The Cricketer has made a stunning comeback in the second innings after disappointing first innings. He has now become the second Indian no. 3 batter after Rahul Dravid to score a Test Century at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai.
Hailing from Fazilka, Punjab, Indian Talented Cricketer, Shubman Gill is known for his impressive batting skills. He has quickly risen through the ranks to become one of Indias topmost players across all formats.
In a significant partnership with wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant, Gill hit a total of 10 fours and 4 sixes, giving 167 runs. He returned to Test Cricket after nearly two years.
By scoring his 5th century, his record has been equalized to MS Dhoni for holding most Test Centuries by an Indian keeper-batter. Gill also became the first batter to score second innings against Bangladesh after being bowled-out at 0 in the first innings.
This achievement further also who makes him solidify his place in an elite group. Following Rahul Dravid- the greatest batsmen in the Indian history, Gill becomes the only no.3 batter to attain this milestone. His performance would be crucial in the Teams victory in the Test Match.
