    Kapil Sharma, Rajpal Yadav and Remo D’Souza Get Death Threats

    In a shocking turn of events, four prominent celebrities, including actor and comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav choreographer Remo D’Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra, received death threats from Pakistan on Thursday. The Mumbai Police has filed an FIR and immediately launched a probe into the matter.

    What Mail Threats Read?

    According to the preliminary reports, this death threat states: “We are monitoring your recent activities, and we believe it is important to bring to your attention a sensitive matter.” This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you. We urge you to treat this message with the utmost seriousness and confidentiality. .” The mail further has been signed off by the sender under the name ‘BISHNU’.

    Earlier Threats

    This is to be noted that Rajpal Yadav earlier received an email-ID Don from a man calling himself Bishnu, 14. December 2024. He was threatening to kill Kapil Sharma and his team as his show is being sponsored by Salman Khan. This threat led him to an immediate action, with his wife, Radha Rajpal Yadav, filing a police complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.

    Amboli Police lodged FIR

    The Amboli Police have also registered an FIR against an unknown person for sending threat mail to Bollywood choreographer Remo D’Souza.

    Meanwhile, actress Sugandha Mishra has registered a non-cognizable complaint at Oshiwara Police Station for a similar threat.

    A case has been filed under Section 351 of the BNS (Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita). This section deals with criminal intimidation. It defines criminal intimidation as threatening another person with injury to their person, reputation, or property or to someone they care about, with the intent to cause alarm or compel them to do something they are not legally bound to do.

    The Amboli Police have successfully traced the IP address to Pakistan. They are also seeking help from the government to correspond with Pakistan. The recipient has been asked to reply within eight hours; otherwise, they’ll face consequences on the personal and professional front.
