Strike at Samsung Ends After Successful Negotiations

After more than a month of intense negotiations and unwavering demands, workers at Samsungs manufacturing facility in Sriperumbudur, Tamil Nadu have officially ended their strike. The protest, which started in late September 2024, came to an end on October 15, following productive dialogues led by the Tamil Nadu government.
The workers represented by the Samsung India Workers Union (SIEU), stood up against the multinational corporation to demand substantial enhancements in wages and working conditions.
