As the Winter Season sets, Air India, India’s largest airline owned by Tata Group has called off about 60 flights with routes connecting India to USA. These cancelled flights were reportedly scheduled for the busiest month of November and December including its services to San Francisco, Chicago and some others.

According to the airline, these flights have been canceled due to delays in return of aircraft from maintenance and supply chain constraints, without naming the destinations. These issues have been causing a shortage of operational aircraft, making it difficult for the airline to schedule services accordingly during these busy months of November and December.

Meanwhile, the airline also said that affected customers have been informed and offered other transits on other Air India group services, which were operating on the same or adjacent days.
