Aamir wore a black kurta-pyjama with a heavily embroidered black-and-gold shawl while Gauri looked resplendent in a floral saree. While the two have been seen in Mumbai previously, this event marks their first appearance in front of the media.

Aamir Khan, who got his first breakthrough with Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak (1985), has been married twice before. He was with Reena Dutta for 16 years before their divorce in 2002. They have two children, Ira and Junaid. He later married filmmaker Kiran Rao in 2005, and they parted ways in 2021. They share a son, Azad. Aamir maintains cordial relationships with both ex-wives and their families, emphasizing mutual respect and affection.

Aamir was last seen in Laal Singh Chaddha. He is currently gearing up for Sitaare Zameen Par and has also begun pre-production for his long-cherished project, Mahabharat.
