    Denmark’s Victoria Kjaer Theilvig, Nicknamed ‘Human Barbie’ crowned Miss Universe 2024

    Victoria Kjaer Theilvig is the first Dane to ever win in the prestigious beauty pageant, creating history for her country. She has won the 73rd Miss Universe competition held in Mexico. Kjaer’s performance impressed judges, which making her secure the crown.

    Victoria is a 21-year-old Danish entrepreneur, dancer, and beauty queen. She has recently made history as the first person from Denmark to win the Miss Universe title.

    Born and raised in Denmark, Victoria also has a degree in business and marketing. Victoria started competing in beauty pageants with Miss Denmark.

    Denmark is now celebrating a historic win made at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant. Kjaer’s stunning performance and poised answers left a mark on the judges, securing her the coveted crown.

    She has been praised on social media, as well: “A night to remember! Denmark’s Victoria Kjær Theilvig shines bright as Miss Universe 2024. Her winning answer stole our hearts: “No matter where you come from, no matter your past, you can always choose to turn it into your strengths.”

    Mexico’s Maria Fernanda Beltran finished as the runner-up, while Nigeria’s Cnidimma Adetshina took the second runner-up position.

    She gained global attention in 2022 when she made the top 20 in Miss Grand International. Nicknamed the “Human Barbie” for her resemblance to the doll, Victoria became a fan favorite.

    The top 12, dominated by Latin American contestants, moved forward to the evening gown round. As the competition heated up in Mexico, five contestants emerged as the frontrunners: Denmark, Mexico, Nigeria, Thailand, and Venezuela.

    The finalists were put to the test with a series of random questions designed to gauge their analytical skills and ability to articulate thoughtful responses under pressure.

    India’s Rhea Singha also participated in the event. Despite her impressive run in the preliminary rounds, where she showcased her elegance, Singha couldn’t secure a spot among the final 12 contestants.

    Rhea Singha, at just 19 years old, had made history earlier by clinching the title of Miss Universe India 2024. Hailing from Gujarat, Singha’s journey included winning titles like Miss Teen Earth 2023, and Diva’s Miss Teen Gujarat 2020.
