Suspension commenced from 8:00 AM, and the stay remained in effect until 1:30 PM, after which services will be resumed. The test was administered over two days, September 21 and 22. “Mobile internet, mobile data, and mobile Wi-Fi services from all service providers” were expressly forbidden in Jharkhand under the ban. It was clarified by the administration, nevertheless, that “voice calls and broadband services based on fixed telephone lines will remain operational during this period.”

The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission will administer the examination across 823 centers. Approximately 6.40 lakh aspirants will participate in the test.
