In a recent video surfacing over the internet, a racist American woman harassed an Indian American family who had just flown to Los Angeles from Cancun. The woman who was caught on camera was another flier who had been on the same flight. Later she was also onboarding the same transfer bus.

According to a man in the video, he said that he and his family, including his wife and three sons, were onboard a flight, and the woman was a fellow traveler. She engaged in a verbal altercation with them after they landed from United Airlines in Los Angeles. The woman later was removed and detained by the authorities.

    What is the incident?

The man named Pervez Taufiq accused the foul-mouthed woman of initiated harassment on his son, who seated next to her in a plane and then shouted offensive taunts at them when they were onboard on a bus ride.

“Your family is from India, you have no respect, you have no rules, you think you can push everyone, push, push, push,” the woman told the man in the video.

“That’s what you think you are. You guys are just fucking crazyy…” she added.

Further, Taufiq asked the woman, “You just want me to have some more curry, right?” to which she replied that she was going “to pull her phone to record your fucking ass.”

The man then asked someone that the woman should be removed from the bus for being rude and racist. She then accused him of being racist towards her.

The woman further said to him that he is not American, but Taufiq shouted back and said he was born in the United States.

“You are not American, originally not, you are fucking Indian,” she added.

“I was born in America, you want to see my passport,” Taufiq replied to her.

After a while, the woman was removed from the bus by the authorities after Taufiq and other fellow passengers claimed her of being racist and in a completely drunk state.

Speaking about the incident, he shared that he only found that stuff on the internet. He said that he went to check on his son, who was seated ahead of their family, when he first interacted with the woman. Taufiq believes that the woman was in a completely drunk state. She asked her children to shut up.

    Reactions on the Internet

Meanwhile, Taufiq received massive support on the internet after the video captured widespread reactions on the internet.

“He handled her very well,” a user said in a comment section.

“She is half Chinese, and she is going mad,” another user added while poking fun at the woman.

“She looks absolutely frustrated. I mean, she hates Indian people truly. Why so much anger and hatred towards Indians? God, please help her to come out of this horrible mindset and start respecting others,” the third user added.
