Tech billionaire Elon Musk has welcomed another child, quoted to be his 14th. This time, he has become the father of a boy – Seldon Lycurgus. This child is with Shivon Zilis, an executive at Musk’s Neuralink, with whom he already has three other children. Zilis made the announcement on X (formerly Twitter), which Musk himself confirmed.
“Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to share directly about our incredible son Seldon Lycurgus. Built like a juggernaut, with a solid heart of gold. Love him so much,” said Zilis. Zilis did not say when the child was born. Musk responded to her announcement with a heart.
In 2021, it was revealed that Musk had fathered twins with Zilis. In 2024, gave birth to a third child, though the child’s name and sex have yet to be publicly disclosed.
Musk’s 13th Child
Zilis’ announcement came after conservative influencer Ashley St Clair claimed to have given birth to Musk’s 13th child, although Musk is yet to publicly acknowledge her claims. St Clair claims she and Musk conceived the child during a January 2024 trip.
“Five months ago, I welcomed a new baby into the world. Elon Musk is the father. I have not previously disclosed this to protect our child’s privacy and safety, but in recent days, it has become clear that tabloid media intends to do so, regardless of the harm it will cause,” St Clair wrote in an X post. St Clair said she was willing to stay silent because it would also protect her newborn’s privacy – until a tabloid, which she declined to name, started snooping around.
Musk’s family
Over the years, Elon Musk has been known to father at least 12 children with various women, creating a sprawling family tree filled with tangled relationships.
His first child, Nevada Alexander, was born in 2002 with ex-wife Justine Wilson, though tragically passed away at just 10 weeks old. Musk would go on to father five more children with her, including twins Vivian and Griffin and triplets Damian, Kai, and Saxon.
Vivian, his daughter, made headlines in 2022 when she came out as transgender and legally changed her name, removing Musk’s surname.
In 2018, he began a relationship with pop star Grimes, which resulted in the birth of their son in 2020. The couple has since expanded their family with two other children—Exa Dark Sideræl, born in 2021, and Techno Machinus, born in 2023.

While Seldon is the couple’s fourth child together, they welcomed their third child, Arcadia, at the beginning of 2024, according to reports.
Thus, Elon’s family includes six children with his first wife, Justine Wilson; three with ex-girlfriend Grimes; four with Neuralink executive Shivon Zilis; and, reportedly another with author Ashley St. Clair.
Nevada Alexander Musk: Elon Musk and Canadian author Justine Wilson tied the knot in January 2000 and two years later, they welcomed their first son, Nevada Alexander Musk. Sadly, Nevada passed away at just 10 weeks old due to sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS).
Griffin And Vivian Musk: After the heartbreaking loss of their firstborn, Musk and Wilson turned to IVF to grow their family. In April 2004, they welcomed twins Griffin and Vivian Musk, who are now 20 years old, according to a report.
Kai, Saxon and Damian Musk: In 2006, Musk and Wilson welcomed triplet sons—Kai, Saxon, and Damian—through IVF. The 19-year-olds largely keep their lives private. The couple- Musk and Wilson- divorced in 2008.
X AE A-XII Musk: The Tesla CEO started dating singer Grimes in 2018, and the couple welcomed a son, X AE A-XII, in May 2020. His name was altered to comply with California law, which prohibits certain characters like “Æ” and “12.” The couple parted ways in September 2021 and have since been involved in a public custody battle.
Exa Dark Siderael Musk: In March 2022, Grimes claimed that she and Musk welcomed their first daughter, Exa Dark Siderael Musk, via surrogacy in December 2021. Nicknamed Y, she is now three years old. In the interview, Grimes referred to Musk as her “boyfriend,” but later clarified on Twitter that they had separated.
Strider And Azure: In November 2021, Musk and Neuralink director Shivon Zilis welcomed twins, now two years old. The couple petitioned to have their names changed to include both their father’s and mother’s last names. The twins, Strider and Azure, had their names officially revealed in September 2023 after a Texas judge approved the change in May 2022.
Techno Mechanicus: According to Walter Isaacson’s biography Elon Musk, published in September 2023, Musk and Grimes welcomed their third child, named Techno Mechanicus, in June 2022.
Arcadia: Musk welcomed his 12th child with Zilis in early 2024, saying, “All our friends and family know.”
Unknown Child: In February 2025, author Ashley St. Clair claimed in a statement shared on X that she and Musk had welcomed a child together just a few months ago. If the claim holds, it was Musk’s 13th child. Although the Tesla CEO is yet to publicly acknowledge her claims.
Seldon Lycurgus: Musk and Zilis welcomed their 14th child if the previous reports about his offspring were correct. Zilis did not reveal when the child was born, but said, “Discussed with Elon and, in light of beautiful Arcadia’s birthday, we felt it was better to also just share directly about our wonderful and incredible son Seldon Lycurgus.”
