Donald Trump was Sworn in as the new President of the US on Monday. Continuing his fourth day at the white office, Trump has signed various executive orders for the benefit of the people.  On Thursday he addressed the World Economic Forum consisting of corporates and political key persons from all over the World, he discussed certain key points at the summit through video conference at that time.

    Should Be Made In America

While speaking at the Summit he started with the list of executive orders he has signed for the benefit of the Country and then promised to lower the taxes if the products are being manufactured in America. If the products are not being made in America then he also warned the business elites to impose high Tariffs on the goods that are being imported. While speaking he said ” Come make your product in America and we will give you among the lowest taxes as any nation on earth,” Trump said. “But if you don’t make your product in America, which is your prerogative, then very simply, you will have to pay a tariff — differing amounts — but a tariff, which will direct hundreds of billions of dollars and even trillions of dollars into our treasury to strengthen our economy and pay down debt under the Trump administration”

    Blamed OPEC

Further speaking he started talking about the oil prices being too high and blamed OPEC for the prices being high for almost 3 years by now. He added that certain things could come to an end after the reduction of the prices pointing to the Russia-Ukraine war“. If the price came down, the Russia-Ukraine war would end immediately,” Trump said. He added about OPEC, “They are very responsible to a certain extent for what’s taking place.” Contrary to what he said, the market results have other data which reveals that the oil prices have come down due to the very low demand for oil from China and also increased production in countries like Argentina and Brazil that are not part of OPEC.

    Plans to meet Russian President

Trump has earlier promised to end the Russia-Ukraine war once he takes charge and claimed that it remains the top priority and measures are being taken to meet the Russian President to an end to the war soon. Regarding this, he stated “One thing is very important: I really would like to be able to meet with President Putin soon and get that war ended,” Trump told the Davos audience. “We have to stop that war. That war is horrible”

    Remark That Made Everyone Laugh

Trump spoke to Prince Mohammed Bin Salman of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday and discussed the conversation he had with the crown prince. The Prince stated that the Kingdom would like to invest $600 billion in the US but Trump has asked for him to increase it to $1 Trillion and this remark of his made the audience of the summit laugh for some time. Trump further promised to make the US the hub of artificial intelligence cryptocurrencies and fossil fuels.
