    Coldplay India Tour 2024; One More Show in The Bucket

    Indian pop fans are currently on the brim of excitement and happiness as the iconic British band Coldplay has announced their tour in India. The band treated the fans by unveiling Coldplay India Tour 2024, as a part of the Music of the Spheres World Tour.

    The tour will commence in January 2025, from Mumbai. This will also mark the return of Coldplay to India after the nine-year long hiatus.

    While the band has been to India before to film ‘Hymn For The Weekend’ music video, this will be first time the band is hosting a concert here. Renowned for their spectacular energy and performance, the band is best known for leaving their impact in audience’s mind. The band last performed in 2016 in Inda, during the Global Citizen Festival.

    Coldplay India Tour 2025: Schedule and Venue

    Mumbai Concert

    The band initially made the concert announcement by declaring their shows at D.Y Patil Stadium in Mumbai on January 18th, 2025, and January 19th, 2025. The announcement led to an overwhelming excitement. Following this, the concert went sold out within few minutes.

    Additionally, Coldplay made another announcement that they have a third show in the city, which will be on 21st January 2025.

    But this was not it. The popularity of Coldplay is so vast in India, that many users requested for 4th and 5th shows. Some even urged the band to stay till March and celebrate the Holi (the festival of colors) with them.

    Ahmedabad Concert

    Bottling up the excitement of the fans, Coldplay added another show, to be held in the Ahmedabad city. The Ahmedabad concert will be held on 25th January 2024 at the Narendra Modi stadium. The stadium is the world’s largest stadium with over 100,000 accommodating capacity.

    The Ahmedabad tickets will be out for sale on November 16, 2024, at 12 p.m. IST. Fans can visit the site of bookmyshow.com to grab their tickets.

    Music of Spheres Tour

    The Music of the Spheres World tour is Coldplay’s ongoing worldwide concert series. The tour began in 2022, in support of the band’s ninth studio album.

    The shows in India will last for approximately four hours. Fans can look forward to tune in to vibes of their new singles from album Moon Music. The tracks will include, ‘We Pray,’ and ‘Feels Like Falling in Love.’ Additionally, fans will witness the beloved classics like ‘Yellow’, ‘The Scientist’, ‘Fix You,’ ‘Viva La Vida’, ‘Paradise’, ‘A Sky Full of Stars’, and ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’.

    The excitement doesn’t end here. Apparently, a mysterious guest will also be announced, adding more curiosity to the event.
