    Diljit Dosanjh Met PM Modi; Says ‘A Fantastic Start of 2025’

    It’s Diljit’s world and we all live in it. This Punjabi artist is just unstoppable. Following the grand finale of Dil-Luminati tour in Ludhiana, Diljit kick-started his 2025 with a memorable moment. On Wednesday, January 1st Diljit Dosanjh met PM Modi who called the singer ‘a blend of tradition and talent.’ Meeting India’s Prime Minister and getting compliments from him just added another layer to Diljit’s impressive treasure. 

    Diljit Dosanjh Met PM Modi; An Unforgettable Moment

    On New Year’s Day, Dosanjh met PM Modi, engaging in a meaningful discussion on various topics, including music. Expressing his joy the artist took to his social media and captioned the meeting a very memorable one. “A fantastic start to 2025. A very memorable meeting with PM @narendramodi Ji. We talked about a lot of things including music of course!” he shared. Diljit presented the Prime Minister with a poster of his Dil-Luminati tour of India. 

    In response to Diljit’s heart-felt post, PM Modi shared, “A great interaction with Diljit Dosanjh! He’s truly multifaceted, blending talent and tradition. We connected over music, culture and more.”

    PM Modi Praising Diljit Dosanjh

    During their interaction, Prime Minister Narendra Modi praised Diljit Dosanjh, saying, “Your family named it ‘Dil Jeet,’ so you keep winning.” This heartfelt compliment from the PM was a reflection of Diljit’s immense popularity and the warmth he exudes in his work.

    In response, Diljit shared his own thoughts, recalling his travels across India and the deep sense of pride he felt. “We used to read about it, ‘My India, Great,’ and when I traveled across India, I realized why people say that – truly, the greatness of India is its power,” he said, expressing his admiration for the country’s spirit. Further reflecting on his meeting, Diljit recalled an interview of PM Modi.

    The artist said, “I had seen your interview, sir. Now when I think of it, this position is very high for us, but behind it, there’s a mother, a son, and a person. He also emphasized that many people forget the emotional depth behind such a role.” He added, “When you carry your mother and Ganga Maiya with you, it fills your heart. That touch is very special. Actually, this comes from the heart.”

    Grand Finale of Dil-Luminati

    On a separate note, Dosanjh wrapped his Dil-Luminati Tour with a power-pack finale in Ludhiana, Punjab. The Ludhiana’s show was a very special one and close to the heart of the artist and fans as Ludhiana is the hometown of Diljit Dosanjh. The event, held at the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) grounds on New Year’s Eve. Dosanjh made the event more memorable by inviting legendary Punjabi singer and politician Muhammad Sadiq to join him on stage.
