A Grand Drone show was organized by the Uttar Pradesh Tourism Department at Prayagraj, featuring hundreds of drones creating vibrant shapes in the sky. Devotees were mesmerized by the divine depiction of the Samudra Manthan (churning of the ocean) and Gods drinking from the Amrit Kalash. On Uttar Pradesh Day, the state’s cultural tableau added to the grandeur of the show.

Through the drone display, the ‘Mahakumbh’ and Uttar Pradesh government logos were also beautifully crafted in the sky, capturing the attention of all. The images of saints blowing conch shells and ascetics bathing in the Sangam were also quite captivating.

The highlight of the drone show was the waving tricolor over the Legislative Assembly building. The sight was filled with patriotism and pride.

Through this drone show, the spiritual and cultural significance of the Mahakumbh was beautifully showcased. Here the heritage of Sanatan tradition was showcased through modern technology.

    ‘Make in India Maha Kumbh’

The main attraction of this grand drone show was the spiritual story of ‘Make in India Maha Kumbh’, in which Indian mythological history and traditions were presented in a unique way.

The show, featuring 2,500 ‘Made in India’ drones, was held over three days, with each day showcasing a unique theme. These drones are supposed to create captivating scenes in the sky of Sangam bank, depicting the story of Samudra Manthan and the scene of the receipt of Amrit Kalash from the struggle between the gods and the demons. The origin and importance of Kumbh Kalash is also being presented in an attractive manner.

On Jan 24, Uttar Pradesh Diwas was celebrated with focus on ‘Virasat’ and ‘Vikas’ (heritage and development). The next day highlighted National Tourism Day, while Jan 26 focused on Republic Day, with a special emphasis on the Constitution. This was the first time that a drone show was organized on such a large scale in the Kumbh Mela.
