At the 2025 Grammy Awards, Indian-American vocalist and entrepreneur Chandrika Tandon has won the Grammy for Best New Age, Ambient, or Chant Album for her album Triveni. She made history alongside collaborators Wouter Kellerman and Eru Matsumoto for their work on the album. The prestigious 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by the Recording Academy, took place at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.

In her Grammy acceptance speech, Chandrika expressed her deep love for music, saying, “Music is love, music is light, and music is laughter, and let’s all be surrounded by love, light, and laughter. Thank you for the music, and thank you to everyone who makes music.”
Reflecting on her victory, the Chennai-born musician shared in a backstage interview with the Recording Academy, “It feels amazing.”
Acknowledging the talent in her category, she said, “We had such wonderful nominees in the category. The fact that we won this is really an extra special moment for us. There were fabulous musicians who were nominated with us. The songs include Pathway to Light, Chant in A, Journey Within, Aether’s Serenade, Ancient Moon, Open Sky, and Seeking Shakti. As per Tandon’s official website, the album intricately blends ancient Vedic chants with melodic flute and resonant cello, crafting a meditative soundscape that promotes mindfulness, self-discovery, and connection. Tandon, who has released three more albums, has performed at prestigious venues like the Kennedy Center, Lincoln Center, and World Culture Festivals across Europe and India.
