    Mahindra Groups’ Classic Legends Launches Jawa 42 FJ

    Jawa Yezdi, a well-known motorcycle brand in the Indian market famous for its Neo-Classic motorcycle lineup, has finally unveiled the 350 Jawa 42 FJ, the newest model in the Jawa 42 Life series, to its collection. This latest addition comes up with various features, including a digital instrument cluster and LED lighting. It is powered by a 350 Alpha2 engine, delivering robust performances and enhanced riders’ safety. This motorcycle is priced at INR 1,99,142. 

    The motorcycle is launched by Classic Legends, which is owned by Mahindra Group. As per the co-founder and chairman of the Mahindra Group, Anand Mahindra. Classic Legends aims to revive old brands as well as create new stories, despite the challenges. Currently, it stands out as the second-largest player in the premium motorcycle segment in India, with aspirations to take the top position. 

    This latest addition to Jawa’s collection aims at combining the aesthetics with the modern one. The 350 Jawa 42 FJ will offer the riders a balanced mix of design, price, and performance.

    With new design and the brand new 350cc engine, built on the success of the 42 and 42 bobbers, this brand-new motorcycle marks an exciting new era for the “42 Life” theme. 

    The FJ suffix in its name is inspired by the company’s visionary founder, named Frantisek Janecek. His vision behind this launch was to serve the riders with a bold riding experience catered to modern enthusiasts. 

    Neo-Classic Segment 

    With the emergence of aesthetic design, power, presence, and cutting-edge technology, the Jawa seeks to push the boundaries of the ‘Neo-Classic’ segment in India. 

    Being the latest model to join Jawa’s Neo Classic series, including the 42 and the 42 bobbers, this bike is anticipated to attract the riders quickly due to its alluring outlook, with premium colors and modern high-tech features.

    Design and Outlook 

    Designed with contemporary styling with anodized, brushed aluminum fuel tank cladding. It enhances the bike’s outlook and allows for personalization through various color options and Jawa branding choices. 

    With aluminum foot pegs and an off-set fuel cap, this adds a unique touch to its design. The wide, flat seat with premium stitching ensures riders’ comfort and maintains its style. It also adds some modernness to the design. 

    Jawa 42 FJ features 

    The motorcycle has an all-LED lighting package, a fully digital instrument cluster, and a USB charging port that combine moderns’ technology and traditional styling, completing the riders-focused essentials. 

    Jawa 42 FJ specs 

    Jawa 42 FJ is powered by an updated 350 Alpha2 engine, delivering an impressive 29.2 HP and 29.6 Nm. It is paired to a six-speed gearbox with an assist and slip function for the clutch. These specifications make it a robust and powerful competitor in the neoclassic market.

    Additionally, it is engineered on a double cradle frame with a 1,440 mm wheelbase. It further gets 178 mm ground clearance, while the suspension travel stands at 135 mm up front and 100 mm at the rear, enabling dual-channel ABS.
