    RJ and Influencer Simran Singh Found Dead in Gurugram Apartment

    Simran Singh, a 25-year-old famous Instagram influencer and freelance radio jockey, was found dead in her apartment in Gurugram, sector 46, on Wednesday, December 25, 2024.

    Hailing from Jammu and Kashmir, Simran Singh had nearly seven lakh followers on her official Instagram handle. The last time she posted was on Friday, December 13, 2024. According to the police, her body was found hanging in her room on Wednesday night (December 25) after her roommate alerted the police.

    According to the reports, her death is suspected to be a case of suicide, but no suicide note has been recovered from the scene. Her body has been handed over to her family.

    SHO of Police, Sunil Kumar, said that around 9:30 pm on Wednesday, one of Simran’s friends staying at her house called the police. When the officials reached the scene, her room was found locked from inside, and the police had to break the door to open the room.

    She was found in a hanging state and was immediately taken to the Park Hospital but was declared dead by the doctors.

    In a preliminary investigation, ASI Pradeep Kumar said that her family reported that she had been facing problems for some time due to which she took this step. They didn’t hold anyone responsible for their daughter’s death and neither lodged any FIR. Her body has been handed over to her family on Thursday after the post-mortem was done.

    Jammu and Kashmir Ministers Extended Condolences

    Her unforeseen death has left grief among the people of Jammu and Kashmir and especially her family. The prominent leaders, including Chief Minister of State Omar Abdullah and Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) President Dr. Farooq Abdullah, have also expressed their sorrow and grief over the untimely demise. They also highlighted that her voice and charm reflected the spirit of Jammu and Kashmir.

    “Dr. Farooq Abdullah, President of the JKNC and Vice President and Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, along with Deputy CM Surinder Kumar Choudhary, have expressed their profound grief over the tragic and untimely demise of Simran Singh, popularly known as Rj Simran and lovingly referred to as ‘Jammu ki Dhadkan.’ Dr. Farooq and Omar Abdullah extended their heartfelt condolences to Simran’s family, friends, and countless fans during this difficult time. They prayed for peace for the departed soul and strength for her loved ones to bear this unimaginable loss,” JKNC noted on the official X handle.

    Further, they also said, “Simran’s voice and charm resonated with the spirit of Jammu and Kashmir. Her contribution to the cultural fabric of our region will always be remembered.”
