Recent movies of the ultimate star Ajith Kumar have been named with the starting letter “V” and Vidaamuyarchi just adds to the list. Starring in films like Vedalam, Vishwasam, and Vivegam, the letter “V” has become an identification for Ajith’s movies in recent times. Vidaamuyarchi directed by Magizh Thirumeni hit the theatres on February 6th and collected INR 22 crores on its opening day with about INR 21.5 crores from Tamilnadu.

According to the reports released, the recently released movie Vidaamuyarchi starring Ajith Kumar and Trisha Krishnan in the lead roles has collected Rs 22 crores total with about INR 21.5 crores coming from Tamilnadu and INR 50 lakhs from the Telugu audience. Various reports reveal that the movie recorded an overall occupancy of 61.23% on its first day, with night shows peaking at 71.06%.
However, the film’s occupancy in the Telugu and Hindi markets was comparatively low at 12.82% and 16.02 % respectively. A wait of at least will reveal if the movie has the potential to reach the blockbuster status.
Vidaamuyarchi Review By Critics
According to the critic’s review, it has a rating of 2.5 stars out of 5 giving it an average review that has more negatives than positives. The reviewers feel that the mass masala moments that Ajith’s fans enjoy in Thala Ajith’s movies seem missing in his latest release. white flag bearer who does not fight the goons immediately as required in an action thriller film, instead tries to stay calm unless provoked to an extreme.
The first half of the film seems to be very slow and the storyline needs development to understand the character’s depth. The last hour of the film offers some moments of enjoyment that become the major plus point of the film. movie is one of the major negative points when today’s generation expects curiosity to be maintained throughout the film
Audience Review
The audiences who have seen the FDFS of the film have given more mixed review. people have enjoyed Ajith’s different persona in the film which does not have the usual masala elements that a Kollywood film offers mostly. screen presence have been enjoyed by a particular type of audience
people felt that the movie was slow and did not fulfill their expectations of Ajith’s film. the film is weakly written having no depth to connect with the characters. Arjun Saga and Regina’s characters lacked depth and hence their characters didn’t create the actual impact that the director wanted those characters to create. Apart from all the negatives in the movie, Anirudh’s BGM was one of the major plus points of the movie that many felt as a refreshing pill in the middle of the boring scenes
Plot Of the Movie
Ajith and Trisha marry each other after getting into a three-month relationship. Their 12 years of marriage have been seeing a down phase with Trisha having an affair with another man and the miscarriage of their baby. Hence Trisha wants to go to her parent’s house. Ajith and Trisha head toward her parent’s house which is a 10-hour long drive. Trisha goes missing in the middle of their travel and Ajith’s search for Trisha forms the plot of the rest of the story.
